At Vanguard University, your story will take you beyond the classroom, beyond academics, and beyond the expected. In the Spring of 2012, the Veterans Resource Center (VRC), with the help of student intern, Adrian Michael and other veteran students, the Student Veterans of Vanguard University was formed. The VRC believes learning happens best in the context of relationship. At Vanguard faculty, staff, and current students commit to creating a culture that causes us to connect with each other and to cultivating new relationships.
The purpose of the Student Veterans of Vanguard University is to advocate on behalf of veterans issues at Vanguard University and beyond. Secondly, our purpose is to provide a fellowship among like-minded individuals in order to create a network of student veterans to provide and enhance professional and leadership development.
