Veterans Day Event

What: Please join us as we honor the service of our veterans past and present.

When: Friday, November 9, 2012, 3:00 – 4:00 pm

Where: Veterans Courtyard of Honor*

Our guest speaker will be Chris Kupitz, student veteran with two deployments to Iraq.  Chris will share the challenges he and fellow veterans face when returning home from combat and the critical role higher education has played in helping them transition from the military to civilian life.

We will also honor the Orange County Freedom Committee and its work to preserve the living history of our nation’s heroes.

Join us for live music, hors d’oeuvers, camaraderie and an opportunity to celebrate our veterans!

*In case of rain, the event will relocate to the Smith building, room 101.
